Too bad its over, I would have loved someone to ask the people there exactly how come of all the ‘canadian’ music podcasts I have heard so far, not asingle one has ever featured a french song. Not one.
We might as well call these the english canadian music shows because I dont thing any of your members has ever crossed the border of Quebec musically speaking.
When a separatist tells you this is not their country, they not kidding, cuz even in the non-commercial music shows, this segregation still exists with english speaking canadians. Its a shame.

There are quite a few Quebec-based podcasts featuring french music. I agree the cross over hasn’t quite happened, but as a french Quebecer myself, I expect it – Bilingual radio didn’t happen either..
What I find limits the exposure to Quebecois artists is the lack of infrastructure (eg: Garageband.com, PMN etc) that cater to french or other languages..
I encourage you to check out the french “balladodiffusion” scene, it’s smaller, but quite vibrant.
