To give us a chance to process the registration cheques in time, we’ve set June 4th as the last day you can register and choose to pay by cheque.

All cheques need to be in by June 8th.

We will then be accepting registration payments only by Paypal until June 22, or until we sell out (looking good at this point).

So if you were thinking of registering, but didn’t want to use a credit card, these are the last days you can do so.

Attendees of the 2006 edition of Podcasters Across Borders were surprised to see the names of their podcasts listed on the back of the *FREE* event t-shirt, making PAB the first (and possibly the only) podcast conference that includes the participants in the memorobilia.  So, we’re doing it, again.

If you register on or before May 30, 2007, your podcast or blog name will be listed on the back of the PAB2007 t-shirt.

Register soon.  Time is running out!

We would like to extend a special PAB-welcome to Thornley Fallis as a sponsor of Podcasters Across Borders 2007. Not only does their partnership mean a lot to us financially, but it’s wonderful to see them validate PAB and what it represents.

It’s not just lip service, they are not strangers to this space. These are active members of the community stepping up to partner with us. Joseph Thornley blogs about social media and PR on ProPR , and Terry Fallis co-hosts the popular Inside PR podcast. Terry is also on a panel at PAB this year.

Thanks to Thornley Fallis, for seeing what we see in this community, and welcome to the PAB family!.

( …and there’s still room at the table if you’re interested in being a partner too!)

PAB2007 is organizing a children’s book collection for Central Public School in Kingston, ON. We ask that all PAB2007 registrants participate in this book drive. It’s simple. Here’s how.

  • Buy a brand new copy of one of your favourite children’s books
  • Write the name of your city, province/state and country on the inside cover (optionally, you can write your name as well)
  • Bring that book to PAB2007
  • Drop the book off in the book collection bin at the conference
  • Feel great that you are helping a school turn children on to reading

If you have questions about the book drive, email Andrea.

Don’t forget that the Holiday Inn Kingston Waterfront (the event hotel), is offering conference registrants a rate for the nights of June 22 and 23, 2007. The rate is CDN$155/night (2 double beds, no smoking, free high-speed Internet access) and goes under the name “Podcasters Across Borders“. You must book your room at the conference rate directly with the hotel ( 613-549-8400 ext. 2660) before May 22, 2007.
