Menu and options for the Saturday sit-down lunch

We are in the process of finalizing our catering for the Saturday (June 25)  sit-down lunch. The menu is posted below. Note that you have your choice between two main dishes. Please let us know by email ( no later than 9amET on Friday, June 17 which main you would like. We will default to Option 1 for anyone from whom we don’t receive a selection.

Shredded duck confit with shaved pear, crisp leek, arugula lettuce and acidulated cranberry emulsion

MAIN OPTION 1 (default)
Hickory perfumed baked Atlantic salmon, parsnip and cauliflower purée, flash fried Asiatic greens

Indonesian yellow chicken or vegetarian stir fry, straw mushroom and scallion, steamed jasmine rice and shrimp chip

Vanilla ice cream stuffed profiteroles, Valrhona chocolate sauce, two melon toss

    Is it true that the menu for people who try to monetize their presentation will start with eating crow, followed by humble pie, and sour grapes for dessert? :-)

    I would also remind people that it’s a no-no to bring wine into the lunch and then try to drink it. This will result in Scarborough Dude and the catering staff exchanging some pleasant words, and the wine disappearing — and not into the mouths of PABsters. ;)
