George Motoc from Canadian Immigrant song did some dry reads to promote PAB, and you can use them on your show! Imagine, someone ELSE’s voice on your podcast! I know, the possibilities are endless!

George’s page is here, with links to the audio..

Thanks George!

How are you telling people you’re coming to PAB?

Did you know that both Mark and Bob are available for interviews? Drop us a line and we’ll set something up!

It’s incredible to me that even though there is still snow on my front lawn, we are EXACTLY TWO MONTHS away from PAB2008! I just wanted to share a quick note to point out that on this day in June, we’ll all be having an awesome time in Kingston, and some of us will be trying to figure out how to get and unnamed Scarberian Podcaster back into the Merchant Tap house pub..

Chris Sherry made an iGoogle gadget to help you keep track of the countdown – if you have any widgets or anything like that, send them along, we’ll share them with everyone..

For Mac users we’ve made a countdown widget for you to help pass the interminable minutes until the event.

You can download the widget here, You’ll also find badges on that page for your website. Tell the world you’re coming to PAB!

If you haven’t in a while, take a look down the right hand side here → → →

these are the people who will be there, we’re adding to this list every day as people register. You may want to check out the links, shows, and all that fun stuff so you know each other before showing up!

Keep watching this space. We’ll be posting more news and information as we get closer to the event. You can keep up to date by subscribing to the RSS feed, getting updates by email, following us on Twitter, and connect with other attendees by joining the ROGIC forums and/or the facebook group.

Special thanks as always to our sponsors for helping us make this event real.

A quick reminder!

We are accepting speaking proposals for PAB2008 until March 1, 2008. We’re looking to challenge new media producers to think beyond current norms and propose ideas on where the media may be going. Sessions can focus on both soft and technical skills for both audio and video productions.

Presenters are given free registration to PAB2008, though they are responsible for their own travel and accommodations.

If you are interested in being part of the speaking program at this year’s event, please submit a written proposal of around 150 words, or an audio or video proposal of two-minutes or less to podcastersacrossborders@gmail.com.
