Boat cruise added to PAB2007

Thanks to the hard work of Don Edwards (our man on the ground in Kingston) we have added a social boat cruise to PAB2007! The cruise by Kingston’s Thousand Island Cruises (on this boat) is free of charge for all PAB registrants and “sets sail” for a 90-minute cruise beginning at 8:00pm on Saturday June 23 **Correction - it’s FRIDAY June 22**.

You’ll be back in time for the Live music at the Merchant Tap House

10:00pm-11:00pm Uncle Seth

11:30pm-1:00am Emily Fennell

We are currently working out details to make it possible for spouses and children to be part of the cruise; space is limited. Keep watching this web site and listening to the Canadian Podcast Buffet for more details as they become available.

Registration by cheque ends June 4th

To give us a chance to process the registration cheques in time, we’ve set June 4th as the last day you can register and choose to pay by cheque.

All cheques need to be in by June 8th.

We will then be accepting registration payments only by Paypal until June 22, or until we sell out (looking good at this point).

So if you were thinking of registering, but didn’t want to use a credit card, these are the last days you can do so.

Register by May 30th to be part of the PAB2007 t-shirt

Attendees of the 2006 edition of Podcasters Across Borders were surprised to see the names of their podcasts listed on the back of the *FREE* event t-shirt, making PAB the first (and possibly the only) podcast conference that includes the participants in the memorobilia.  So, we’re doing it, again.

If you register on or before May 30, 2007, your podcast or blog name will be listed on the back of the PAB2007 t-shirt.

Register soon.  Time is running out!

PAB2007 book drive for Kingston School

PAB2007 is organizing a children’s book collection for Central Public School in Kingston, ON. We ask that all PAB2007 registrants participate in this book drive. It’s simple. Here’s how.

  • Buy a brand new copy of one of your favourite children’s books
  • Write the name of your city, province/state and country on the inside cover (optionally, you can write your name as well)
  • Bring that book to PAB2007
  • Drop the book off in the book collection bin at the conference
  • Feel great that you are helping a school turn children on to reading

If you have questions about the book drive, email Andrea.
