Book your room at the Lord Elgin Hotel while supplies last

The Lord Elgin Hotel (which is across the street from the NAC) has offered an astounding deal to PAB2010 registrants. They’ve allocated a block of 50 rooms at the unbelievable rate of CDN$112/night (plus applicable taxes and any guest-incurred charges)!!!

PAB2010 registrants have the choice of a room with two queen beds or one king. All rooms include complimentary coffee/tea service. High speed Internet access is available for a fee. The group rate is available if you book your room before end of day May 19, or until all 50 rooms in the block are booked (whichever comes first) and can only be applied to bookings for the nights of June 18, 19 and 20, 2010.

Note that if you book a room at the preferred rate and cancel within seven days of the conference, you will be charged for one night’s stay in the hotel (CDN$112 plus applicable taxes).

Valet parking is available for $23/day. There are other pay parking lots nearby if you prefer.

Be sure that you book your room at the Holiday Inn Kingston Waterfront by May 19 in order to benefit from the Podcasters Across Borders special rate of $160/night (taxes and parking extra).  Regular rates are $190/night so you want to be sure to book in time.

Clearing up confusion on the hotel rate

If you plan to stay at the Holiday Inn Kingston Waterfront as part of your Podcasters Across Borders experience, take note that the PAB rate is only applicable on Friday June 20 and Saturday June 21.  Extended stays before or after PAB do not qualify for the rate.  It may be necessary to make split reservations with the hotel in order to get the PAB rate for both nights.

Remember, we have a limited block of rooms available at the preferred rate.  The rate is only available until May 21 or until all of the rooms are booked.  Reserve early.
